Notable Changes from the Previous Year
The new Kona Electric has a longer wheelbase to increase the space inside the car. However, the most significant change is the addition of two 12.3-inch displays for a more modern cabin appearance.
Infotainment and Technology Features
A 12.3-inch touchscreen display with on-board navigation is standard on all trims. It supports mobile integration, AM/FM/MP3 audio system, hands-free communication and BlueLink-connected vehicle system. The Ultimate trim adds the premium Bose audio system with eight speakers and a wireless device charging for supported devices. Another 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display is also standard.
Interior Design
Apart from being comfortable, the interior of the Kona Electric has plenty of functional equipment to make it practical. Standard features include a 12-volt power outlet, heated front seats, and a six-way adjustable driver's seat. Ultimate trim adds a head-up display, a HomeLink Integrated transceiver and interior door paint handles. The cargo area can hold 723 litres behind the rear seats and 1,803 litres when the rear seats are down.

With a total driving range of 420 km, it delivers 201 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy for city/highway/combined is 1.8/2.3/2.0 L/100 km. Charging takes six hours and five minutes on a level 2 charger and 43 minutes on a level 3.
